Research Resources
Regenstein Library has a strong collection of primary sources and modern scholarship on Byzantium and related fields such as Ancient Greek and Roman, Russian, Medieval, Venetian, Islamic and Ottoman and post-Byzantine Greek history. Local seminaries, the Center for Research Libraries, and the Newberry Library have additional holdings of interest to investigators of Byzantine history and civilization. The Chicago metropolitan area has a strong Greek community that offers additional cultural resources and attractions.
