Re: Academic Progress Reports
DEADLINE: MAY 2, 2008
History PhD students are required to submit an academic progress report every year. Its completion is required by the University to keep the Department and Division informed of your progress.
We are continuing to test a new method of submitting the progress reports online this year. Please select the appropriate link below to find the progress report form that matches your stage in the program:
Reports must be approved by your academic advisor. Please list the last name of your advisor in the report, and we'll handle tracking down his/her approval.
Academic Advisors:
- for 1st/2nd year students: your GSAC advisor -OR- the faculty member with whom you work most closely
- others who are not yet ABD: chair of your orals committee
- ABDs: dissertation director
Please submit a current Curriculum Vitae along with the Academic Progress Report. You can paste this into the report or email to kpollock@uchicago.edu.
If you have any questions or concerns about this system, or if you prefer another method to submit your report, please contact Kelly Pollock. The information you fill in on the report will be sent directly to Kelly Pollock and will be used by the Graduate Student Affairs Committee to track progress to the degree and to help you through any pitfalls along the way.
If you would like to obtain a copy of what you submit, please request that from Kelly Pollock.
