Undergraduate Courses
In addition to the civilization sequences, College students can choose from more than eighty history courses that are offered each year to undergraduates. Some are introductory lectures and others are small seminars devoted to the intense study of a particular historical moment, theme, or event.
Graduate Courses
History graduate courses include 300-level courses, 400-level courses that are also open to upper-level undergraduates with consent, graduate colloquia open to graduate students only, and a two-quarter research seminar that culminates in a major research paper.
