As a history major or minor you have many exciting opportunities to learn outside the classroom through internships, study-aboard programs, and grants for research trips. You can contribute to or lead our very own Chicago Journal of History or prepare for graduate studies in law, history, and more.

Companies, start-ups, nonprofits, government agencies, and school districts all need your amazing critical-thinking, research, and writing skills. You are encouraged to work with the undergraduate program coordinator and preceptors to find exciting internships in the city of Chicago and beyond. We constantly receive information about internships from many institutions throughout the year; join to learn about them all.
