History & Fiction Panel on Feb. 15

The editorial board of the Chicago Journal of History will host "History and Fiction: Narrative, Contexts, and Imagination" on Wednesday, February 15, 4:30–6:00 PM, in the Reynolds Club, South Lounge, 5706 S. University Ave. The panel will discuss the intersection between fiction and history, by exploring such questions as what are the historical and fictional? And how do historical concepts and contexts influence literary production and reception?

Chicago Journal of History Considers Bio-History

The editorial board of the Chicago Journal of History and Phoenix Biology are co-hosting "Bio-History in the Anthropocene: Interdisciplinary Study of the Past and Present" on Thursday, October 13, 3–5 PM, in the Social Science Research Building, room 201, 1126 E. 59th Street. The panel will discuss the intersection and interactions between biological science and historical inquiry.
