On Friday, May 27, 2016, at 4 PM, the Chicago History Journal is cosponsoring a conversation with Nathan Tarcov and Wendy Doniger on "Love and Law in Indo-European Traditions: Religion, Politics, and the Erotic Life" in Swift Hall, room 201. A reception will follow.
The Chicago History Journal was founded in 2013 by undergraduate history students. The journal is published twice a year and features original research from students across the nation and occasional interviews with distinguished historians.
The journal is accepting submissions for autumn 2016. The Chicago History Journal has no thematic restrictions, and the editorial board has backgrounds in many geographical, periodical, and thematic specializations. Most successful submissions range from fifteen to thirty pages. Please format citations in The Chicago Manual of Style and include a works-cited page. Papers should be submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org as an MS Word or a PDF attachment by Friday, September 9, 2016.
