We are pleased to announce that Eleonory Gilburd has won two prizes for To See Paris and Die: The Soviet Lives of Western Culture (Harvard University Press, 2018).

The Association for Slavic, East European, & Eurasian Studies (ASEEES) has honored To See Paris and Die with the Wayne S. Vucinich Book Prize, awarded for "the most important contribution to Russian, Eurasian, and East European studies in any discipline of the humanities or social sciences." Gilburd also received the ASEEES Marshall Shulman Book Prize for "an outstanding monograph dealing with the international relations, foreign policy, or foreign-policy decision-making of any of the states of the former Soviet Union or Eastern Europe."

Gilburd is an Assistant Professor of History and the College.
