MA Requirement

Every student is expected to have a Master’s degree or equivalent as determined by the Committee, in an appropriate subject by the end of year 3. Appropriate subjects include (but are not limited to) social, life, and physical sciences; mathematics; and philosophy. Students who already have a Master’s degree when they enter the program will have fulfilled this requirement following the Committee’s approval.
