The Spatial Politics of Belonging: Mapping Jewish Women’s Mobility and Memory in Paris, 1940-2024

BIOGRAPHY

I study modern France and its empire, with particular attention to conflict, memory, and the social and spatial dynamics of urban life. My research asks how states produce exclusion, how ordinary people navigate it in their everyday lives, and how those experiences continue to shape political and ethical commitments long after moments of crisis have passed.
