BIOGRAPHY
As a historian of Japan, I explore the intersections of the sacred, politics, aesthetics, and the environment. In the classroom, I extend these interdisciplinary inclinations—drawing on my passions for foodways, popular culture, and martial arts—to foster meaningful engagement with the past and cultivate historical curiosity.
